Victor Epstein Joins Noles Coaching Staff

Victor EpsteinVeteran lacrosse coach Victor Epstein has joined the coaching staff of the Florida State University Seminoles as an assistant coach.

The 37-year- old journalist previously served as head coach of the Georgia Southern Men’s Lacrosse Team in Statesboro, Ga. Epstein started his playing career late in life, as a 16-year- old freshman at The City College of New York. He quickly discovered a love for the game and a knack for midfield, where the former mile runner prowled the area between the goals for the New York Lacrosse Club and the Aiken Augusta Men’s Lacrosse Team.

“Lacrosse has been a great outlet for me as a journalist,” Epstein said. “One that provides me with a ready group of friends in every city where I work. Now that I’m covering Jeb Bush as a member of the capital press corps I welcome the opportunity to help out the club at FSU in Tallahassee.
Go Noles.”

The FSU Lacrosse family wishes coach Victor Epstein the best.
