Seminoles Add An Assistant Coach

Florida State University Men’s Lacrosse proudly announces the addition of Caleb Miller as an Assistant Coach.  Milller played collegiately at Hofstra University and the University of Maryland at College Park.  Florida State Head Coach Bill Harkins is excited about Miller’s decision to join the Seminole Staff.  "Coach Miller is a tremendous addition to our staff," said Harkins, "He comes to us with knowledge of the game and is enthusiastic in his dedication." When asked about the hiring of Miller by the Seminoles, University of Maryland Head Coach Dave Cottle said, "It is great news hearing that Caleb Miller will be giving back to the sport by joining the FSU staff.  He brings with him a wealth of high-level lacrosse, having played at a great high school in Maryland, at Hofstra, and at the University of Maryland."  Miller will work largely with the midfield, and Harkins is confident that he will have a big impact there.  "We look forward to him working individually to improve our play, in particular at the midfield," he said, "and I am excited to have a player who has learned from Coach Cottle, and at such a prestigious, storied program as the University of Maryland."  Miller was born in Pikesville, Maryland, and is currently a Master’s candidate at Florida State in the Department of Demography and Population Health.  Miller earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Demography from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2006.
