Seminoles Finalize Plans for Maryland Trip

A week after initially reworking their trip to Maryland, the Florida State Men’s Lacrosse are pleased to announce that they have been able to reschedule their game with Northeastern in addition to their game with Boston College. After playing the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday, March 29th at Johns Hopkins University, the Seminoles will play Boston College and Northeastern on Sunday, March 30th.  Both games will be hosted by the University of Maryland at College Park.  The Seminoles will begin their busy day by playing BC at 2 p.m., and finish it with an 8 p.m. game against Northeastern.  "We’ve very appreciative of Boston College and Northeastern for accommodating our scheduling stiatuion and playing us in Baltimore rather than Long Island," said Seminole Head Coach Bill Harkins, "and we’re also very grateful to University of Maryland Head Coach Dave Cottle for the time, effort and energy he put in to make this a reality.  We’re really excited about playing such prestigious programs at a school with such a rich lacrosse tradition." The revamped schedule means that the Seminoles will be playing three games against teams ranked in the Lax World MCLA Top 25 in just over 24 hours (#7 Boston College, #10 Northeastern, and #20 Virginia Tech).   For the complete FSU lacrosse schedule, please visit http://fsulacrosse.com/schedule.cfm
