Seminoles Announce 2012 Schedule

The Florida State Men’s Lacrosse team announced its 2012 schedule earlier today.  The 18-game schedule features five games against teams ranked in Lacrosse Magazine's Preseason Top 20 poll, including two against teams ranked in the Top 10.  

The season will begin with a busy February which will see the Seminoles play 9 games.  Florida State starts the season against the University of Tampa before a weekend of SELC South Division road games against Central Florida and South Florida.  The next weekend, the Seminoles will play PCLL conference foe Boston College in Atlanta, Georgia.  Next, Florida State will host the 2012 Southern Shootout featuring the Seminoles, Georgia, South Carolina and Miami (FL).  A hectic month concludes with road games against Clemson and Georgia Tech. 

The Seminoles begin March with their annual showdown with Virginia Tech before playing four games in four days against Indiana, Texas State, Boston University and SUNY-Buffalo.  The end of March features games against Santa Clara and the University of Alabama. 

The Seminoles conclude their regular season with a game against Ole Miss before the traditional regular season finale with rival Florida.  The Seminoles’ game against Florida will be Senior Day and will be part of FSU Lacrosse’s Family Weekend.
