Angerer Named Captain

Florida State midfielder Brett Angerer has been named team captain, Seminole head coach Bill Harkins announced this week.  Angerer will serve as captain along with defensive midfielder Rolly O’Meilia and defenseman TJ Dugan.

Angerer, a junior midfielder, tallied 18 goals and 14 assists during the 2011 season, but it was his performance this fall that earned him the honor.  “Brett earned a captaincy this fall by his example of hard work, and his concern for his teammates,” said Harkins. 

"It's an honor to be named captain," said Angerer, "It's something I hope to use to improve the team as well as myself."

Angerer and the Seminoles will begin their 2012 season February 1st against the University of Tampa (D-II).
